¤ I was a goddess while I was pregnant, absolutely glowing, and pregnancy was great!
.
¤ She started sleeping right thru the night at 4months, so I had to wake her for feeds
.
¤ She wasn't a cryer, crying meant she was sick. She would make unpleasant scolding sounds tho
.
¤ She didn't mind lying on her back 'talking' to light fixtures for 2hrs while I cleaned house and did my hair.
.
¤ Her 1st word wasn't mama, nor was it even English it was Afrikaans for 'out'. LOL
.
¤ She didn't need potty training. She tugged at her diaper with a disgusted look on her face, when I said I'd change her, she said 'No' and went to my drawer, pulled out a pair of panties and said 'me' and showed me where they're meant to go LMAO
.
¤ She was 6y.o when I told her about my bp. Her response? Atleast we know what's wrong, now I don't have to worry. I will pray your bipolar goes away.
.
¤ She's an awesome judge of character, and reads people easily. She came to ME, and said we're better off without the sperm donor, he does nothing but make us both miserable. She's the 1st to know when my mother is having a hard time missing my dad. She respects that sometimes, I just need to be alone in a dark room with the music blaring.
.
¤ She helps her friends and cousins with their schoolwork.
.
She's a good, caring, kind old soul, there's so much more I could say, but I just wanted to share that with you guys.

I like the highlighted ones....

Edit: She is very aware of everything that goes on around her. Sometimes this can be a bad thing when you're going through things with your illness but she is actually very resilient to it all and understanding.

Thanks guys, she is a wonderful blessing, and Irreplaceable, yes, there are times when I cringe, and think, 'you shouldn't even be thinking about that'... But so far, we haven't been able to hide anything from her for long... She's amazing, even after something upsets her, she wants to talk it out and work on a game plan

Your daughter sounds amazing and beautiful Trippin!! However, I'm really not surprised.. After all she has you for a mother. You are a caring, compassionate individual. It's really nice to be able to look at our children and see how amazing they really are. <3

Ok, Trippin, your daughter has to be an angel fallen from heaven. Thanks for sharing such a tender and awesome post. I agree with Anika. The apple doesnt fall far from the tree.

I think this is a very nice thread Trippin. A heart warming exchange of feeling that everyone can appriciate thank you for sharing. God bless you and your daughter.

Ps. I am a father many times over and I have discovered that girls hate thier poop stuck to their buts while boys could ware that ***** untill hell froze over for all they cared. Unfortunately (in this aspect) I had more boys than girls.

That's what I was going to say.

Also, give yourself some credit for raising her to be such a compassionate and remarkable person.
