If it's of any help, I've been going through something similar recently, and I just figured out last night that what feels like "lows" are simply average moods---not good, not bad, just OK.In comparison to the elevation I've had the past couple of weeks, they seem to be real downers, but in truth I'm nowhere near being depressed right now.

It works kind of like the way a tepid bath works on a sunburn: the water feels cold because the skin is so hot, but that doesn't change the fact that the water is lukewarm.

Hope that's helpful. I myself am going to test this theory on my pdoc this week; I'm half afraid to do so because I don't want him to change my meds, but I figure if I'm paying someone to treat me, it's counterproductive not be honest with him.
