Hi. I was diagnosed originally Bipolar 2, now changed to Bipolar 1 last october. I had a really long awful depression and after trying Tegretol, Zoloft and Seroquel I finally had some peace from Seroquel. In spite of the constant exhaustion from the Seroquel. It seems to have stopped working. I had some hypomanic/manic symptoms. My doctor decided to slowly taper me off seroquel and we are trying Geodon. I do not have experience with this med. Has anyone out there had success w/ Geodon? My doctor implied that part of bipolar is a fairly frequent need to change meds. Thanks.

Both of my teenage kids had good response to geodon for awhile, they took clonopin for anxiety as needed during same time. That combo helped for almost a year. Now they've changed to lithium with clonopin. Good luck to you. it does seem we have to keep changing meds.

That's not good. I want to get stabilized on meds and be done with it. (Yeah, do we know any more jokes??) Frankly, I like where I am now---a little hypomanic, feeling mostly awesome. Can't I stay here, pleasepleaseplease?
