I think I'm finally gettin out of the depression I've been in for a while now. The last two or three days my mind has been just racing. I can just barely keep up with them. I thought the other day, could this behypomania, then forgot about it, but now I'm thinking it really might be. I've just been caring more about things. I haven't felt depressed at all for a few days now, sure its only two or three, but it's really a good feeling to step back and notice that.

But now I can't sleep I'm waking up in 5 hours and have been laying here now not able to sleep for two hours. I couldn't sleep last night either. I fell asleep when I laid down yesterday, but woke up a thousand times during the night.

can you get something to help you sleep? I take seroquel to sleep when manic. you need to get enough sleep or you may become manic.
note this down on a mood tracker to tell your pdoc.
if things get bad, call your pdoc.

I can certainly relate. I know that I am hypomanic when I can't sleep and my thoughts race. I've used a sleep aid in the past - diphenhydramine, which is the active ingredient in Benadryl. It seems to work for me, sometimes Melatonin does too. However, the first thing you need to do is get a diagnosis so you know what you're dealing with. Good luck!

Yea, I've been waiting for an appointment for 2 months now. With my luck, the day before the appointment the doctor will cancel.
