Have an (informal) presentation to do in an hour, which I'm being assessed on. I keep mincing my words during rehearsal cos the music in my head is SO DANG LOUD, it's distracting! This sucks, I've been getting excellent feedback and now it's gonna be AVERAGE if not apalling! Just venting, unless there's a way to stop the music? I made cue cards to help me tho, meh.

It went well, but I was seriously scared I would break into song mid-sentence! LMAO. The facilitator said I'm a natural, and should look into a career like training... Don't worry Jacky, you can do this.

...very cool! ...well done

last one of those I did I was seriously looking at the open window nearby as the anxiety increased...just as a means of escape, even though it was two floors up.

Ophelia...when you say music in your head do you mean real music or just constant overwhelming noise? I can't listen to music cos the songs get embedded on a loop and for days it plays and the rest of the time it's mental static and incessant like psychotic talk back radio

Music, like the other day an entire Whitney Houston album 'played'. Yesterday, it was like when you have a song stuck in your head. Except it 'plays' loudly and interferes with my thought process. Sometimes it's so loud I get it confused with external sounds, eg. I hesitated to knock on the door coz I thought my friend wouldn't be able to hear me thru 'his' loud music... I may have experienced static, but not sure...

I hope you keep doing ok, Trippin. When head music becomes so intrusive for me, it has usually been a sign of stress and winding me up towards more "unusual" experiences. Take care.
