thought i'd share this... another 1 of my guilty pleasures

is when i'm feeling down and horrible, i like to watch young children's shows to help me feel a lil better

and it's not just that... firstly i have a very short attention span, so can sit through it without losing focus on it, and secondly, i feel strongly that my childhood was taken away from me, so am kind of living it now.

i guess i'm weird. at my age sitting in front of an episode of bob the builder and enjoying it.

but hey. if it works....

I don't know how old you are but, I know plenty adults who enjoy kid's tv shows and movies. It isn't weird at all.

I miss watching Thomas the train especially when Ringo Starr was the narrator, I wish I could watch those, and Ghost Rider from PBS...some of the new shows don't do it for me and yes, they put me in a better mood.

...hehe this is funny cool!

it's just lately probably the last few years I have been checking into the kiddie shows...I can get mesmerised watching them make things on playschool out of basically stuff all! "heres a bent piece of cardboard a tennis ball and a kitchen glove got some sticky tape.....looky now we got a helicopter lets buzz buzz fly it around weeee"

I think it's great cos we are still kids inside

those teletubbie dudes freak me out though like they are on acid or I'm on acid....give me nightmares.

another cool show is one called "minuscule" where they have superimposed funny bugs onto real life backgrounds and they get up to stuff

magic school bus is totally awsome.

used to watch that all the time but they don't play it here now.

that's the trouble with the UK.. a lot of the good shows just get taken off

Watching Kid's shows is nothing to be worried about as it just helps to relax the person by forgetting all the adulthood issues and just focusing on the innocence of kids deep inside the person .

I have been watching kid's shows for the past 16 years, for entertainment of my own children and others that I sit for. The one thing I find annoying is that the same episodes I watched when my teenager was young are still playing-I need new material!

If you want to see shows from your own childhood you can usually find all that you want on youtube. Recently I found an old pbs series called "Mulligan Stew" (really dating myself here!) which I looked up because one of my college friends was in the series.

I love watching Finding Nemo. Easy watching no matter how my brain is functioning (except when I want to cut out all sound and light).

I'm sorry for reminding you! :P Baby-face-sun-thing is something I hope to one day forget.
I think you're right about the weird sound thing... like a surreal gurgling giggle thingy.... I just want to know why they thought the sun thing was a good idea in the first place!
