Yeah. I've gone back to judo so I hope to lose more but it's like treading water. If only Geodon worked. You start hallucinating and such and per puts you on Zyprexa. And pdoc thinks it works really well.

I know. Zyprexa minus weight gain = heaven, but it has not been invented yet, alas. I feel for you totally. It sucks big time.

Zyprexa made me gain 90lbs in less than a year I almost doubled my body weight I was 100lbs to begin with now I've got down to 145lbs so another 20 to lose and ill be happy with my weight. I hear you about the hunger I was eating the whole time I wasn't sleeping. Horrible drug didn't work for me but pdoc refused to take me off it until I became obese I'm now on abilify it helps a bit and luckily gives me no weight gain

It makes you wonder if Zyprexa isn't in a conspiracy with the makers of those diet pills that curb your appetite...

Moose have you ever aske or tried Zyprxa Zydis? I know I've read alot about it being more weight neutral than Zyprexa. When I was on Zyprxa I gained 20 lbs in three weeks, that's a lot for an active anorexic. There is definatly more going on with that med in the weight area than meets the eye or mouth and stomach.

I'd ask about the Zydis and it might be worth the switch. I have taken it and had no weight gain. It worked exactly the same as Zyprexa. And like you that's the only antipsychotic that helped my psychosis.

That's a good idea!
I don't see my pdoc until September but I can leave a note. I just refilled the script and don't know what insurance issues there might be.

So do I, and there are times when the fargin' sofa looks pretty tasty! I've gained 15 pounds in just five weeks, and I was a wide load before I started this stuff. But it's sure better than tearing everybody a new arse and nearly getting thrown out of my own house......

Making me want to go on a walk- again. I have a migraine that's not quite gone yet. I go to judo twice a week, but I try to take a nightly walk just to blow off steam. Depends on how hot it is out there.
