Yep thats right folks... 1 hour of sleep in 3 days despite enough sleep meds to knock out a small nation .. first 2 days I was hypo and felt like a duck everything just rolled off me I felt pretty damn good ( a first for me in the last months... This fine muggy morning its hitting me like the proverbial tons of bricks.

Every tiny noise I hear is grating my last nerve.. Someone 165879 miles away from me dropped a pin and I'm angry!!!

I see my Tdoc today which is probably a great thing.

Ok I'm done ranting over something I can't snap my fingers and fix *sigh*

Can I hear a big fat Cheer for Insomnia?

yeah, I sympathize with you. I get insomnia at times despite sleep meds. Certain meds have bad side effects. IMO my body gets decent sleep every 2nd night.

You have such an optimistic outlook and are always so encouraging to the people who post here. I'm sorry you are in this challenging state right now. I hope your visit with your T-doc goes well and that you find a way to get some much needed rest soon. +++

Trippin hehe ! You and I could be twins I wish we both can enjoy our extra "awake time" without wanting to slap ignorance in the face

Blue thanks so much .. Tell your boss I said to give you a day off with pay !!!

Optimize .. I usally get aboout 4 hours a nite if Im lucky. Chronic Insomnia is a bear, Hope you are able to get some good rest

Piper .. Awwww thank you so much for the lovely compliment.. You made me smile

Well I saw my " wizard" ( tdoc ) Hes Great I'm so lucky to have him .. He took one look at me and said " when did you sleep last" Guess Im looking kinda "rough" LOL He knows me so well .. He turned around and dialed my Pdoc and asked him if I could have a few "adult beverages" or dose up some Nyquil... Pdoc said either is fine with him..hahaha

I am very lucky that I have a great Pdoc and Tdoc.. Bipolar is tough .. I hope everyone either has a great team like I do OR you are able to find the help you really need and deserve

(((( Hugs )))) to everyone

omg my new idiot neighbors have taken up going out on the balcony every night about an hour after *I* fall asleep on my ambien and various other knockout meds (everything knocks me out - a frickin vitamin knocks me out) it's hehe hehe ho ho ho ho high voice low voice woman and man, doing their little dance before they do their little dance. my balcony door is open, sound is magnified, and i'm lying there half-awake, hallucinating and paralyzed by the meds, trying to yell out, "shaddddup!!!" frickin nightmare.

Oh my gosh Ladies ... Let me tell you ...

I slept 10 hours straight

I havent done that in ummm like I cant remember the last time!

I cant even explain how I feel.. I feel rested yet its so strange Hahaha

Maybe this feeling is what normal people feel daily since they are sleeping on a regular basis? I don't know but, I'm going to enjoy it

As always ,

Thank you all for caring
It means sooo much you have no idea

I have mania and depression back to back, day in and day out, sometimes at the same time. I dont sleep much either and my boyfriend gets mad at me because I dont get tired so I dont go to sleep, even if id try, my thoughts keep me wide awake, so why bother. I'll go two or three days not needing any sleep then I'll hit depression and finally pass out, but then i still only sleep about 7 hours. I wish i had this problem when I was going to college (i could have been studying on those nights and got better grades)
