anyone had a fear of something after helusinating about something?

for me, i once had a bad helusination about a plain crash, and now anything to do with flying (even if it's birds or insects) i have a real fear of, and before it wasn't so intense- i could actually listen to a bird song without shaking

so how do you deal with something like this.

how do you become not scared of it anymore..
Thanks for this!

I haven't had that but I have had times that one bad experience has made me petrified of the thing.

During one of my depressions, I kept seeing this doll that we own out of the corner of my eye. She really scared me; I had a few nightmares about her, too. Now she is locked up in the basement, away from me.

You should take a plane...

No seriously, I'm mad about strange phobias and exposure has helped many. You learn to let go.

But, I'm still terrified of "the dark". I've tried sitting in a dark room and my imagination hates me.

their is nothing wrong with being scared of the dark.

when i was younger and totally afraid of it, what i used to do is leave the door open when the room got darker, and then each night gradually closed it a little more

worked for me..

I have done a lot of hypnotherapy with my Tdoc and it has really helped me get over a lot of my irrational fears.
