I've asked several friends if they think act strangely or change dramatically over fairly short periods of time - they all looked at me worriedly and said yes.

Is this relevant, when talking to a psychologist should I bring this up - or am I being paranoid?

hi rycOv, why would this be paranoid? i think it's good to talk to the psychologist about it, gives info, that's good. You have bipolar diagnosis already yes? what are the friends worried about, are you feeling really manic? Wellbutrin makes me go manic, I liked it too much, but the pdoc didn't like it so now i'm down to 75mg. She'd like me to go off it entirely but I'm worried about the depression coming back.

ryc, often the best indicators of behavior change are the observations of those close to us.
I take them seriously enough to report to my health care professional for evaluation.

Have written psychologist a letter explaining my worries, should save time for our session on Friday. Thanks guys.

No diagnosis as of yet, but my medication combination is, I'm told, often used to treat Bipolar type 2. It seems to be working well - so I'm going to press for details as to why that may be.

Having people close to you who are supportive and who can give you their observations is extremely important. It's not for paranoia but because often we're not able to see how bad we're doing. I will think I'm doing great but actually, no, on the other side I look back and see how terrible I was doing. Having someone to constructively let me know what's going on would be a huge help to me.

If the people are well-meaning, their feedback is hugely important.
