I am thinking of asking my ex for a pill of Lunesta for the night before the interview, because Temazepam stopped working reliably and there is no time to find something else. This is not a LT solution for me because my county does not carry Lunesta, but rather a stopgap. I have heard that it is very effective and gives many hours of sleep, but I have never tried. What has been your experience with it - did it work on the first night?

I guess I need to call the doctor and see if I can take both Temazepam and Lunesta.

I have prepared so well for this interview, it would be a shame to blow it now, but I am totally dependent on the quantity and quality of sleep I get.

I used Lunesta for quite a while. For me, it worked the first time I used it. I woke up rested and not all groggy.

I have an RX for Lunesta right now.

The morning after the first night that I took it, I woke up feeling like I had FINALLY been able to rest.

Sorry, I was not up to date on his meds. He does not use Lunesta because he falls in the 1% of patients in whom it causes photosensitivity, and he already has very light, very sensitive, burn-prone skin. What he is offering is baclofen which is an ancient muscle relaxant and based on what I see on the Net, it is used together with Temazepam, but I am waiting for my doctor to confirm.

Hmm, well if you could get Lunesta, isn't that just the American version of Immovane (zopiclone)? The drug is slightly different than zopiclone but, basically the same thing like Effexor and Pristiq.

But answering about zopiclone because I don't know about this other drug....it usually works for me but sometimes it doesnt, is lots of fun!!! (Which is why I probably shouldn't take it lol! Haven't had in awhile, gotta get me more...) Wake up groggy and if you don't fall asleep you hallucinate and "black out" only to find strange writings, text messages and posts on this forum the next day.

I've taken it many many many times, I took it for months on end for a while. I did sleep good, and felt rested. One thing tho, after I took it at night and it really kicked in, I would talk a lot, very euphoric, and could text, call, email you name it, I could have probably got in my car and drove (if I had one), and have absolutely zero recollection of it all. My bf has also taken it and had the same experience. So just be prepared that that can happen . Like Cocoabeans, it was Zopiclone, basically our Canadian version of Lunesta, very slight difference in ingredients. I have heard of people getting in car crashes and things like that while on Lunesta and having no memory of any of it.

I also got the metallic taste, that lasts all through the next day, not too pleasant.

ahh, ,I just saw your other post Hamster, that it is a different drug, sorry.
