I really do wonder about the role of stress in this bipolar illness.

If all the stress was removed, would my mood be better? my energy?

Have you noticed any patterns in your illness when you are stressed?

I think so. Stress is my trigger every time. It's a big part of life apparantly so I keep learning new ways to duck, dodge, and cope.

Certain stressors drive me straight up the wall. Others, not so much. I suppose it's a matter of personality and upbringing, among other aspects; all I know is that problems with money send me around the bend, and work issues just make me work harder.

I know stress is a trigger for me too. A little bit of stress is ok, but when its something thats out of my control then its a big problem.

Hope your hubby finds a job soon, unemployment sucks
