Today I have felt so alone and I have been with my husband all day and he had been wonderful as always. I have yelled and cussed at him and just been a raging *****. I would like to know what I could do to help forgive myself and not get so hard on myself I feel so alone and I can't stand it. I hae felt horrible and blue all day today.

![]() Don't let guilt stop you from being kind to yourself :-) (I know, easier said than done, but sometimes a reminder like that can helpful..)

I know that for me, talking to the person has made all the difference in the world. If your like me, then you can't forgive yourself until the other person does first! talking with the person... that's my best advice. but before you do, please make sure that they won't try to pull a guilt trip on you. guilt trips are the worst thing a person can do in a conversation like this. but talking is the best way to work through it with someone.

I hope you ended the day better than it was when you posted. It is hard to not be hard on yourself when you lash out at the people that you love. I can speak to that. Often and unfortunately I have yelled and gotten out of hand with the people I love. The thing about it is that they love you. I can't offer any suggestions on how to avoid it except to try to put your anger on lock down (and I know that when rage is present, this is the hardest thing to do- I don't think I can do it, hence, my seeking out treatment to help me help my brain because I could not do it on my own.). Anyway, try to go forward telling yourself that you are loved and do what you can. Manic Most Days has something, there. Usually we hurt ourselves more with our actions. BUT- You are human. try to not be so hard on yourself. ![]() ![]() ![]()
