I realized last night that I had forgotten to pick up my lamictal, so I missed my evening dose. I am also on paxil and effexor, which my pdoc isn't all that comfortable with, but it seems to keep the depression at bay.

Anyways, today I am full of anxiety; shaking, chest fluttering, butterflies in stomach. I just feel altogether awful. It kind of reminds me of a toned down version of when I was hypomanic.

I think it is likely that the AD have kind of taken over without the MS overnight. Do you think that this is possible? Are any of you this sensitive to one medication error? Haven't experienced this before so I just want to know if it is normal or not.

Hi BluePoppy,

I missed my Lamictal last week (one day-the first time, too) and I had the absolute worst headache. I also notices some visual "strangeness" (like the "oasis" kinda thing you see sometimes driving- the streetlights on the road I was driving on looked kind of hazy like that. I also felt weird. Almost like I was stoned or something. I only take 25 mg of Lamictal and 200 of Seroquel. The headache was the worst part for me.

Thanks for this. It is reassuring. I missed 200 mg so I am hoping with my dose tonight that tomorrow will feel normal (or as normal as I can feel).

I turned into a train wreck within 48 hours of trying to come off Celexa, and within 24 hours of discontinuing Zyprexa. That's why I'm back on them....even the tiny doses I'm taking make a big difference in the way I feel.

I miss doses of meds very often. Even one day off of them and I am the hardest person to deal with. When I am on them I am so easy to get along with.

usually it takes me 2 missed doses to notice a big difference, but I'm not on lamactil so it could be different.
