You don't have to be embarrassed.........we all confess a lot of stuff here that we'd never tell anyone else. Here, we are not judged because of our illness, told to "buck up" or "snap out of it", shushed when we need to blow off steam, or treated like second-class citizens. Between all the members here, there is NOTHING we haven't seen, heard, or done when it comes to bipolar.

You are among friends.

I totally understand the feeling - the whole topic got me admitting more than i ever have on here... and it's just the tip of the iceberg of what i've done (i think you trump me by a small bit lol). but it's anonymous and good to admit stuff to someone. even though we cant see each other, we know we're a group of real people, and we care about each other.

You can't hold it all in. Secrets turn into poison and they slowly eat away at you from the inside.

We are all here to heal and support each other. That doesn't work if we all are judegmental. We've all done things that we are not proud of, and that's just life. We wouldn't be human otherwise.

well said dhx, and so true. i do like my privacy, and lack close friends i can trust in real life, so being able to talk and have you all as my friends here is golden. glad you are here Passion.

Another thing, because I don't have a lot of friends in real life, and often the real life people listen but don't understand. It's not that they don't care. They just don't understand. So, talking to you guys on here helps.

I'm with the others in sharing waaay more info here than IRL. It's nice to have that outlet with people who understand.

I agree sharing our stories is a great way to help ourselves. I like to share my story on here because you can let off some steam as well as get some good information and support. So dont feel mortified at divulging some rough details.
