Hi everyone. Here I am complaining again. But I've been noticing for a few months that this pain in my bladder and constant peeing has me going coocoo. I'll go and have to go again in 5 min. Taking up alot if my time. Been checked several times for bladder-uti infections. My bladder feels full all the time. I was reading up in Lamictal side effects and it says possible bladder changes. This is a nuisance and if this continues I'm going off of this stuff. I'm starting to dislike alot of Lamictals side effects. Especially weight gain but anyways--has anyone had this issue??

I had no side effects on Lamictal whatsoever. It did not do anything good either. It was basically like taking a sugar pill for several years.

Constantly full bladder sounds like a very annoying side effect.

Weight change is not a typical side effect of Lamictal.

No side effects on lamictal myself especially none like that. Good luck figuring it out.

I had the urge to use the restroom frequently as a side effect for a while, but it went away after a while. I can't remember how long that issue lasted. I think it might have been because I was drinking a little more than I was before.

You can buy test strips off the shelf at your local drug store(Walgreens, cvs, etc.) to test for a UTI. It's like $9 for a box with 3 test strips. I know you said you ruled a UTI out, but if you want to check again in a week or so but don't want to go to the doctor, that's a quick and cheap way to check without having to go in.

I haven't had any weight change with lamictal. The drug is generally considered weight neutral.

I've been tested for uti over and over. Only thing I can figure is Lamictal. Hamster---I agree. Feels almost like a sugar pill. I'm calmer no doubt but nothing worth these side effects

To me what you describe would be an intolerable side effect. I pee very frequently because I consume a lot of water - it helps prevent migraine attacks. I find the need to go pee frequently annoying, but to me it is worth it because I get less pain. With you, you are not getting anything particularly valuable in return for your suffering.
