Hello - just wondering if anyone who has taken or is taking Lamictal has noticed their urine get very dark. I have been taking it for 10 days and I noticed today that my urine is very dark.

It means you're not drinking enough water and you're dehydrated. Lamicatal should make you use the bathroom more.

Try to drink 2-3 bottles of water (16 oz) a day for the next few days. If the pee doesn't lighten up call your doctor.

Dark urine can be caused by many diseases. I had it when I had an inflamed gallbladder and also when I had pancreatitis. I agree you need to see a doctor soon if it doesn't clear up.

Meds along with foods can change the color of your urine and/or stool. If it doesn't improve, and you're drinking your usual amount of fluids, let your doctor know.
