Okay, so, I've been taking Latuda for about... Oh... I think since either last winter or spring. And it works amazingly for me. My doctor is actually taking me off of Lithium now, because this one is working so well.

But that's aside from the point.

After I started taking this, my family and I started noticing some oddities with me. My breathing seemed heavier and I make these little vocal ticks all the time now, especially when I'm eating.

Is anyone taking this and experiencing anything similar?

Let me know, please! Thanks!

I don't know anything about the med, but I can't stand to see 0 replies to a post! Is this something that is manageable for you, or is it a deal breaker?
Thanks for this!

Aww, thank you.

I can deal with it. I mean, it's embarrassing when I make those noises, but it's better for my health. Lithium always made me drink waaaaaaaaay too much and now, with Latuda, I can eliminate that and start feeling relatively normal again. :3

Have you told your doctor?

I would be a little concerned about heavier breathing and get that checked out to make sure its nothing serious.

I've told him about the vocal ticks, but I keep neglecting to remember to tell him about the heavier breathing. My mom notices it more than I do, but that's not to say I don't see it sometimes.
