I have a very writing-intensive project that I have to complete by Fri. B/c of my class schedule I really have to do half today and half thur. I haven't started my meds yet (bc I simply cant afford them until thur when hubby gets pd) and I am having a lot of distracted thoughts and my focus is all to shiznit.

I have been in that position before with work... all I can suggest is to keep something with an invigorating scent (cinnamon, peppermint, or citrus) nearby- it can help with concentration. I also found tea very comforting.

The last thing I did was to make sure I was taking enough breaks.

Another tip to raise concentration is to chew gum. I know this sounds weird but it's actually proven as a real method recently. I also know this because my husband has ADD pretty badly and when he really needs to concentrate he chews gum which helps him focus. It's not a cure exactly but it helps.
