...this is unusual for me due to intense morbid-ness and whatever! anyway...! screw that!

comedians are a rare breed in this world...good ones anyway!..
and most often they are screwed up seriously themselves...at least until they get rich and then the best ones stay screwed up anyway and blow all there cash and now I'm drifting funny !..

....so ...thing is !...hate to admit it being so self sufficient!.

there are a few superb brilliant people on this traumatic planet that can make me laugh

have you got any?

Jimeoin is my favourite

Billy Connolly...

Ricky Gervais...

Larry David... well this guy made Seinfeld

I wish I had the nerves to articulate all the ******** I experience...

but then I might just implode anyway ....I hate attention....

Larry David is great! Same with Riki Gervais, although I almost got knocked out for telling a girl her boyfriend looked like him, so I don't do that no more, even if it is true!

... or duck fast.

Amy Sherman, although she isn't a stand up comedian, but a writer, she makes me laugh so hard. Not gonna be embarrassed about it either.. well maybe a little.

tomorrow is cool. cause tomorrow never comes. If I practice being in the now, I might not never ever have to do a thing.....

Remember when Annie was singing all about "tomorrow", the sun'll come out tomorrow (never), tomorrow clears out the cobwebs and the sorrow (never happening), So ya gotta hang on till tomorrow (forever) You are always a day away ( from tomorrow, which is never coming )

What a depressing song.

Lol, last time my son was hospitalized, the badddd cuts time, he says, "Mom, you gotta get me out of her, this girl across the hall won't stop singing some song about 'Tomorrow'...". I asked him if he was being nice to her and he said yes, but he didn't know how much longer he could be. ... lol...

My favorite is Dylan Moran.
He has a funny thing that's not stand up called "Rejection".
youtube. com/watch?v=oS1NOXWVWgo
Just spent the last few hours trying to pick a stand up clip, and couldn't really narrow it down. But there is one show called "Like, Totally", chosen specially for you, dubblemonkey, as minutes 6-7 was a good little snippet on Australia.
youtube. com/watch?v=HNAh9_BPBFk

Because it should be mentioned trigger-wise for anyone for whom it is a concern, he does smoke and drink.

There are entire shows of various tours broken into parts, which is nice to be able to get more than clips. One thing in watching him is to pay attention to the little things he says just tossed into a run-on, because a lot of it will go right by if you don't.

(He's also known for Black Books. youtube .com/watch?v=rtxUdbNKpK0&feature=related)

Heh. I went to the Cat Laughs comedy festival in Ireland in 2005, and your man Jimeoin was there. So was Dylan Moran but I didn't know who he was then, but am SOOO kicking myself now!!!... (Lewis Black was there too. Didn't see him either...) I had just the ticket to one show, and it was Ardal O'Hanlon, Karl Spain and Rich Hall. Got to talk briefly with Ardal. Shouted out when Rich Hall asked a question he didn't expect anyone to answer in the affirmative, lol. Yeah, I was a little hypo.

(Sorry to have put the space between youtube and com, but I couldn't get it to simply put a link (w/o the little tv thing, that is). Argh!)

And then of course there's Robin Williams...
