Ugh. Things have not been going well lately. I haven't been sleeping well, I've been extremely irritable, and I've had limited concentration. All signs of hypomania. Lovely. And last night, I got into a huge fight with one of my housemates, and now she won't even talk to me to have a mature conversation or anything. Fml.

At least I'm seeing my pdoc on Friday so I can maybe talk med adjustment. It sucks too though, because I just saw my T yesterday and don't have another appt. for 2 weeks.

I'm sorry you're having this hard time. I hope your pdoc can help you. When did this start? Did anything possibly set you off?

It started a week or so ago. I can't think of anything that would've set me off.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I do wonder what could have set you off maybe stress recently or something like that it could have been something your not aware of. I hope your pdoc helps you out on Friday. Good luck friend

I don't know. There usually isn't a trigger for me, it just happens...

i used to think there were no triggers either. maybe it's just something you aren't used to thinking of as a trigger? if you wanna tell us more about what happened when it started (were you out of the house? in the house? running errands? etc?) maybe we can act like your T.

I know that traffic, parking lots, and driving in general are triggers, so i try not to run errands by myself unless i have to, or i'm incorporating an errand i REALLY want, like going to a craft store.

Sometimes the smallest things can be triggers.

Idk. One night I just didn't sleep well, and it snowballed from there. And I've had insomnia for ages, so not sleeping well isn't anything new for me.

That could be trigger all in its self. Do you have a t because mine has helped me find my many triggers not all of them but still it's good to know what sets you off for the future so you know what to be careful around or what to totally avoid.

I just spent the last hour and a half cleaning...that's a sure sign I'm hypomanic because that's the only time I do any real/intense cleaning. Beyond that it might be a quick scrub of the toilet or straightening of my clothes...but I just cleaned and organized my desk, the area around and under my bed, my closet, vacuumed my room and the hallway, and put a load of laundry in the machine. I would clean the bathroom, but that was done just the other day so it doesn't need it.

Sounds like a hypomania time. I don't need triggers-or so I think. But agree most likely something set you off. Not sleeping can send me over the edge, no doubt. Somedays I scare myself at how bad lack of sleep (which is alot) can make me really off the wall for days and weeks.

One thing good is the cleaning gets done. Lol. I need a little episode to get me to get off my butt.

I dont really have triggers either, the few I have, are FEW. can count them on 1 hand... I hope you reap the benefits of your hypomanic spell, and that you and your roomie smoothe things over... Nice to see you around again

Thanks.

I honestly think that the situation is one that will never be resolved, and I'm planning on talking to the housing director tomorrow to see if I can move. I no longer feel welcome in the house, and I don't deal with tension and conflict well, so I just want to remove myself from it all.

Ugh.

It's 4:30am and I'm still wide awake and doing this and that. I just finished straightening my hair because I was getting so fidgety in bed I needed to get up and do something...

Well, I saw my pdoc and he upped my dose of Seroquel, and also switched me to the IR version from XR.
