What's the difference between cyclothymic and mixed mode bipolar?

Mixed episode is generally a state where you're depressed but have the energy to hurt yourself. Like a mix between "Hypo/Mania" and Depression.

Cyclothymia is generally a less severe version of bipolar. They generally get mild depressions and hypo episodes.

I always feel depressed. I seldom go into mania but when I do it's because of meds, like Effexor caused me to be almost mixed episode. But now I'm off it, and I have just mild manic episodes while I'm depressed.

You may want to try walking 3x a week for 30 minutes at a time. Exercise is a natural "anti-depressant" and should help the depression and not make you manic.

Even leaving the house and sitting in the sun for 10-15 minutes should help.
