My husband has been in a really bad, negative mood last few days. I feel guilty bc I know he has to process and deal w/ my anger/negatively often and this is a rare thing for him but I am still taking it way personal!
So, instead of looking to him to lift me up like I usually do (prolly too much), I'm trying to think of a small, quick self- adjustments. I say small and quick bc I am buried in mid-term mumbo jumbo and don't have a lot of time to devote to self- care this weekend but feel like I need to devote some. So, dear Sisters and Brothers of the slightly twisted minds ![]() |

Call an old friend that you haven't talked to in a while (but make sure it is not a Debbie downer)
Coloring books either alone or with kids. You can print cool and intricate designs from the internet. Google "mandalas to color" and you will find some good ones. ![]() Let us know what you do! Best, EJ |

Bubble bath with smelly candles. You can still study if it's on an e-book. The best thing I did was adopt a dog. She helps me in all my mood swings. Play a quick bejewled game (any repetitive game will work), and color.
