After weeks of reading this forum, I finally gathered the nerve to sign up and introduce myself. Early 30's male with recent diagnosis of BPD II following 15 years of misdiagnosed depression, alcoholism and copious SSRI's. Between the recent accurate diagnosis, psychotherapy and lamictal meds, this is the most balanced I've felt in my adult life. And I plan on keeping it that way.

I've got a long story to tell and many questions (mainly dealing with regret/remorse of past actions) but for now I'd like to say hello and thanks, as reading these posts have made me realize that I'm not alone.

Thanks everyone and I look forward to being a part of this community.

Welcome aboard. This site has really helped me and I enjoy the feedback from others that understand. If you get the chance check out WRAP (wellness recovery action plan) by Mary Ellen Copeland.
