Are always the worst. anyone else go to bed happy and wake up in hell most days? it seems like my cycles are synched to day and night (I don't really experience mania though) As I am writing this I feel at ease and ready for a good night's rest, but I normally just dream away all of the memory space in my head just too many vivid details hanging in my mind as my mood chems in my mind struggle to function

I felt the exact same way today. When I woke up, I had SUCH trouble doing anything.

I did not have it at your age. I had the opposite: I would go to bed in a dark and hopeless mood because of the circumstances (such as my parents' divorce) and wake up extremely happy and relaxed, and then after a few seconds I would remember my unhappiness and what made me hopeless the night before. My mother used to tell me that it is "biological optimism" which is a feature of all healthy youths. I do not know... I went on to develop MI.

Aww, no that doesn't usually happen to me. But I wake up almost every day with a pounding headache no matter what I do. Which kinda ruins the mood a bit.

Sorry that is the case, mornings can be hard without that. Nights are usually worse for me than days.

What is your caffeine consumption like throughout the day?

No joke, it is VERY good that I get up, get ready and out the door before anyone in the house wakes up!! I am that beast that if you speak to me in the morning prior to having myself up, ready and on my way. I will literally freak the frack out!!! Once I am going and to work I am fine...
It is really odd honestly, I don't know why but any sort of discussion or even someone in my way when I am trying to do something turns me into this monster that can ruin anyone with just a few words.

I have about half a cup around 7 am, and another half a cup around 10 am. I have cut my coffee consumtion a lot. I never drink soda, or eat chocolate, tea with caffiene or energy drinks. I cut my coffee back over the year, thinking it would make a big difference. But celiac and lupus both cause headaches, so I don't know what else to do. I drink tons of water and coconut water, I am hydrated well.

That is not why I asked. I should have been more clear. Caffeine WITHDRAWAL causes headaches, so I was thinking that perhaps you drink coffee late in the day and then have a withdrawal by morning, but no, that is not applicable. Are your headaches migraines or not?

I have so much trouble waking up! Especially sleepless nights like now, why bother falling asleep at this point when I have to wake up in 2 hours.

And then I sometimes want to fall asleep during the day, and that just causes more problems, ugh, I even took sleep meds at 9pm last night.

I don't do well in the morning either. I do better in the evening.
