Hello, Little Me,
Yes, the sadness can and will leave you if you will do the things to help it along. The munchies may be causing it to linger longer than you wish. Please let us know more about what medications you take, what your routine diet is like in terms of whether you eat a lot of foods that have sugar in them, fried foods, wheat products, or milk products. These things alter mood functions strongly. There are other things, too, that do that; but, for the most part, if you can eliminate the items just discussed, you're going to see a rapid improvement in your moods. (I talk a good bit about the chemical reactions to food that cause feeling tone to be low.) How's your spiritual life? Is that satisfactory for you? (No need to answer, but that is an important part of happiness for many of us.) Within a week I would say you might begin to have more energy and feel less sadness. If you use caffeine in any form--whether coffee, tea, chocolate, or anything else having it, please stop using that product until you know that you definitely have no sensitivity to them. Avoid the artificial sweeteners, as well. Stevia is one of them that is known not to be harmful--at least at this time that is thought to be the case. There is a way out of this, and I'm hoping you'll take the steps to get away from whatever it is that is leaving you with these feelings. Many good things could be headed your way if you would take the chance and get help for the feelings that upset you. Please know that everyone experiences some of that in life at one time or another. Best wishes, |
