I suggest doing some exercises. Maybe some stretches or yoga type things or Tai Chi, exercise that isn't too cardio or fast paced. It might get some of that excess energy out.

PS even if it is cold, maybe take a short walk around the block. Tell your mom what is up now that she is on board with you. Explain you can't focus and sit still. Maybe she will walk with you.

If you need to read the screen for school, it is tough, but if you need to read from a physical book, take the book and read it while slowly pacing the floor. Do not try to sit.

Sitting at your desk is not good for you on all grounds: it shortens the life span and leads to back pain and obesity. Make a habit out of lying down on your tummy. It would be easier to focus this way, too. One of the benefits of homeschool is this flexibility: you do not have to sit all day long, unlike in a brick and mortar school.

Make sure you are well hydrated: have several glasses of water or cups of tea. Even slight dehydration (1-2% and not signaled by the sensation of thirst yet) reduces the ability to focus.
Thanks for this!
