I was caught up in hurricane Rita and hurricane Ike a few years back. It wiped out our community's. People died and people lost everything. We were one of the lucky ones the only damage we had was minor to my roof. My next door neighbors roof came completely off and flooded their home. We're no more than twenty feet from each other. They were out of their home for nine months. It took our cities a couple of years to rebuild although there are still a few in FEMA trailers. What I'm trying to say is, there is HOPE! It will get better. Sometimes it takes everyone to help rebuild their city's. My prayers are going out to you all.

I agree, Mudmuse. I don't know how many of our forum friends were affected, but it has been very tragic to watch the aftermath of the storm on the news.
