My family members are never in my dreams.

Are they in yours?

Is it odd that I never see them in my dreams? Not even the ones I'm really close to?

After my dad died a few years ago, he was in my dreams almost every night. That lasted for a couple of years.

Now I'm back to having none of my family members in my dreams.

My children are, but not my husband. He is always at work or I with an ex (any random one, never any one I have seen in years or have any desire to in the future). Isnt that weird?

No, I never dream about my family members, but other loved ones often are in my dreams--when I dream. Used to walk in my sleep in early teen years, too. Walked off the front porch once and knocked myself unconscious but good. Then rode my
bicycle (with the kick stand up) on the porch, too. Outgrew it, thank goodness.

I've been told that we never appear as ourselves in our dreams. We may be someone else in the dream. That isn't true for me,usually. I generally see myself in my dreams and find resolutions to things that way.

It is an interesting subject that you bring up about dreaming.

Thanks for this.
