well, i don't sleep anyway- but yesterday seemed exceptionally long.

watched i'm a celebrity, and the wrestling (whicdh took me up to 2a.m) realised that lying in bed was pointless and i had too much energy to just lie around, so just wnet on my computer to download a few movies.. and promised myself that i'd go back to my bed before the morning to at least try get a bit of rest- and well, before i knew it- it was like 8 in the morning!

seemed like a really long night - well, every night is long... because i don't sleep) but, most nights- i'm not watching wrestling at 1 a.m, and it just felt weird even having my tv on

Yup, I know what you mean. Those days when days turn into one long day.. seem forever long.

I am always bothered by watching the sunrise and moon retreat only to come out again.. and again and it all seems like one big day. It's not a natural thing for us to do, feels way outta place.

It's ok, the wrestling at 1 am, maybe not at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and still by 8 am. I was watching the weather channel for who knows what location for four or five hours the other night, I had a half hour before I had to get ready to go work, yuck wasn't I already there that day? Their time clock is not in sync with mine I guess.

Well I hope you can get some sleep tonight then! Try to take heart in the fact that the wrestling was probably far more interesting than watching badly made maps indicating hot and cold air movement. And then cut your self off from watching things that are too interesting before bed time maybe? I had to stop watching science documentaries, and TED talks along with Dr. Who before bed, helped a bit for a while.

I had the same problem and had to have my pdoc give me a sleep aid. I've also had a med adjustment that seems to help too. I wish u luck.

Oh Insomnia ! I have a life long relationship with that nasty 8 letter word ! Right now Im actually sleeping nightly more than I ever have, not sure why .

I typically would go days with no sleep, worst was 8 days of no sleep at all. That required a 3 day stop on the psych ward.

Do you have a sleep med ? If so maybe take it once in a while to get a decent amount of sleep ?.. I know there is some OTC stuff you can try or herbal teas.

I wish you luck
