Thank you, Livebythesea! This year it's a bag of mixed emotions, for me. We met my husband's family midway between our homes for dinner at a restaurant-that was good; however, tomorrow we have to travel the same direction to attend a funeral for one of my special friends. She lived with a brain tumor and the knowledge that her time was limited for 13 years, and she was always so positive! I am thankful for special friends who teach us so much and brighten our lives.

Hello Blue...I am sorry for your loss. How it is that people can be positive in the face of cancer is truly amazing...they say your attitude helps you live longer with tumors/cancer and so I'm sure that was part of the reason she was here for so long. Wishing you peace at this time...I'm sure the visit with your family was even more special.
Thanks for this!
