I can't help it...feeling lonely and angry today especially at the world for my illness which has taken everything from me...but I walked my dog in the neighborhood and was relieved to hear a couple bickering in their home as I walked by and to know that it's not all happiness today for everyone.

I would seriously be thankful for the dog if I were you. I would not be saying that the illness has taken EVERYTHING. What is the name of your doggie?

Hi Hamster. My chocolate lab's name is Bosco. And during my first depression I actually convinced my family and H to give him up...so we did but when I got better/manic we got him back from the animal rescue. Crazy. I can barely be responsible enough to walk him now ugh

To make things worse my H and I are headed for divorce and he will be getting the dog, which is ok with me since I am a mess.

Could you ask for visitation with Bosco? My children and my dogs keep me going when things are really bad.

Yes thank you I would definitely be able to get visitation since he is a HANDFUL, even at 9 years old! So I'm sure H would be happy for a break at times.
