Hey all. Sorry I haven't been on is a while, life has been hectic, between my disability claim getting denied, for what, I have no idea since both my pdoc and my T said they don't want me at work yet, and the holidays.

I am really just touching base to let you all know that I am going to be sliding to a different forum, at least for a while. My pdoc said that she thinks that I actually have schizoaffective disorder bipolar type, since my psychosis persists between episodes. It's always something, isn't it?

I am hoping that forum might give me more specific ideas of what I'm dealing with, and stuff, but I might still pop in here every once in a while, just I'll miss you guys, you've all been great. It makes me sad to go, but like I said, I hope that forum will give be more specialized feedback, so I'll catch you all later.

Good luck, Outlaw. My sister deals with the same issues. I am not sure of the exact label, but she is medicated for schizophrenia and depression. Fortunately, she stays in check with the meds.

We are making final adjustments to my meds, but we almost have my psychotic symptoms completely under control, and my moods have improved exponentially. It really helps that my new pdoc actually listens to me, and I don't have to spend every appointment arguing with her, like I did the first pdoc I had.

Feel free to come back whenever you like. Our schizoaffective brothers and sisters are always welcome here. We're all kinds of flavors. I hope you have answers where you're headed.

There's not a whole lot of activity either in the schizoaffective forums. I stick around here because the two are so similar, and yet it's much more active.

A lot of Schizo affective Disorder Bipolar Types stick around here because it's so close to BP1 w/ psychosis. Best of luck and check in ones in a while.
