was look forward to opening my first presents all weekend... and i got a double cd of dutch music (which i won't be able to understand), and a lame fossil bracelet... which to be honest, i wouldn't wear anyway
and, yes... they didon't speak to me the whole time they were here- which to be honest i find rather rude (not even to be wished merry christmas) guess i expected a little more.. |

Lol nothing wrong with that maybe make a what I want for Christmas thread or holiday so it's generic for our friends of different beliefs

Sorry the week-end sucked and your guests are rude. In our family we make an index card of ten things we want and a star next to the present that we want the most. Most of my gifts (including my son's) come from the dollar store.

I'm not saying this is your case ...
I always figure any gift someone gives me will somehow someway make me think of something or inspire me .. Maybe not right away.. but in time.. everything is brought into our lives for a reason.. About 15 years ago I received the most horrific "christmas sweater... I am talking hideous !!! I tucked in the back of my closet .... The person that gave it to me passed away a few months later.... Now everytime I see that sweater I see my grandmother... Is the sweater still ugly ? Yep ... But I learned a very good lesson... Maybe that CD is useless that you can't understand the words... But the music alone is just emotions out loud. Sorry you feel let down. Maybe something wonderful will come from the CD that its even in a language you don't understand
