I am hoping that the silence you is that it means you're at the doctor and getting all better. Please give us a heads up when you can!

I went to the er. Had lots of blood work, poking and proding. Waited around for hours. Sent me home and i have to go back for an ultra sound at the hospital today. My blood work came back all good, but the dr there said he is pretty sure it is my gallbladder. So just waiting for the call to go back. Pretty sure will be another day of sitting for hours waiting. My blood work always comes back perfect so while that is good it makes me nervous that again they will not know what is wrong and then wont be able to help.

Why is it so cold in the hospital all the time. Brrrr.

Thank you for thinking of me and all the encouragement. The dr is really nice, same one who first saw my daughter with her badly broken arm.

Have you ever looked into fibro?

I wouldn't be surprised if you do have a gallbladder problem, but it may explain the pain you frequently feel despite having a tight control over your diet.

They keep it cold in the hospital maybe because of all that electronic equipment that is super sensitve to temperature. But, when I was in the hospital all I had to do was ask and they would bring me a blanket made toasty warm from the oven. (Yup, the CNA told me they heat them in the oven!)

My original blood work when I saw my GP came back fine except I had low vitamin D and a slightly high c reactive protein (a sign of inflamation.) But he told me to follow up in 3 months. 3 months later I was in the ER before I could even go back.

Confused, yup I have been tested for all the fibro trigger points, I failed to respond to any of them except for one near my shoulder neck area. You need to respond to at least 11 of the 18 specified points I believe. I am still waiting for an app with an Immunologist to try and rule out or in lupus. Hopefully I will get something concrete then, so I at least have something to work with.

DH, interesting about the slightly high c reactive protein, when I have lots of visable inflamation.. like you can no longer see my knees my blood is still perfect. It's really weird. Sometimes I wonder if I should ask for all my records and comb over the blood work. That sucks that it went so wrong so quickly for you.

I'll ask for warm blankets, I know they got them, but I think they are stingy with them in the ER. I was thinking also to keep bacteria growth down if they keep it cooler, but yeah the equipment too, you are right. My bf said it's to save tax payers money... haha hee riiight.

Thanks for keeping us posted I hope they have some answers soon. I hate the long hrs spent in the waiting rooms, its when I'm most thankful for my phone, I'm not a good 'waiter' can you tell? I have about as much patience as I have cup size ( Yes I can joke about it at times)
Thanks for this!

I am so glad you saw a Doctor, Damn sorry once again its " hurry up and wait" Good that your blood work is stable that is a positive! No infection from the Gallbladder swirling around ! Ultra sound will let the Doctors know whats going on.

Thanks for keeping us informed,
I know I panic if I don't hear/read from my friends, so Thank you

So glad you've caught this if it is the gallbladder, if that had burst it would have been horrid--at least you'll get answers soon! Oh, what you've been through. Morethingswrong & Trippin as well. I hate this!!!!!
Damn medicos, they really don't know much at all.
Good thoughts, good vibes, hugs galore, and a world of love.

Aww thanks, I am ok. I got to go home. I am pretty tired and too much mumbjo jumbo med talk. Basically my gallbladder looks fine.. That is good.. Great! But then what is wrong? I am not having phantom pain.

Different dr, she wants to do an endoscopy. She is sure that I have damaged villi in the small intestine, causing lots of malabsortion problems. She said my Internalist should have ordered this years ago when they did the large intestine and found abnormal cells. I asked him if we should do that at the time?!? ( frustration ) Check all my vitamins and nutrients with more blood work. That I don't mind, I have had weird deficits before. I have lost a lot of weight last few months but ya I have been really nauseated. She also mentioned possibility of ulsers in the small intestine.. Owie.

Me... I don't know what to think. Her.. She wants to be sure that gluten isn't still causeing problems.

I am so tired. I will think about it later.

I just layed down on my couch, got a blanket, cranked the heat (the gas company can thank me later ) I am freezing and clamy. My back still hurts. I got a book from my kids for christmas ~ the Bhagavad Gita that I am excited to escape into for a while.

Thank you guys for all the support. I really appreciate it tons. I have been very turned off doctors and the whole medical feild because of my experiences, so the suppory and encouragment to keep trying and showing up really helps.

One thing this lady dr did say when I replied that I understood that they didn't know and I was used to that happening was that " you are dealing with celiac, that's how it usually plays out". I don't know if that is comforting or not.

I'm sorry. I understand your dislike of Doctors and the whole world of medicine. I will keep sending good thoughts your way

Hey sweetie! You have really been up against it lately(!) Hope you are getting nice rest. Those kinds of things can be so tedious and wearing. Good it's not the gallbladder, but you're right -- it sure does leave it frustratingly mysterious, and you've had more than your fair share of that already (like when they kept not figuring out the gluten thing). Hope you get to feeling better soon and getting some answers (of the easy-to-fix variety!) without too much go-around.

(Sorry to be late on this, been offline a few days.)

Have you recently had blood work done for Celiac disease? If not I would.

Also a negative U/S does NOT rule out gallbladder problems. You should also have a Hida Scan done. If it is negative then your gallbladder is okay. My problems were found on Hida Scan after I had a negative U/S.
