One of the oddest things to me are the dreams I have while taking psych meds. They are truly strange, really vivid and drawn out. I remember most of them the next morning. It's like being in an episode of my own personal soap opera that airs every night.

I wish I dreamt (sp?) more, or remembered my dreams more.

Once I dreamed I was having sex with Osama Bin Laden that was a weird and random and disturbing one!

Sometimes I dream of my old lover, usually we just talk for hours, those ones make me happy

And sometimes I have scary dreams, horrible ones. But I also can lucid dream sometimes and fight back.

What are your soap opera dreams like?

They are about normal every day things just magnified. They have so much detail.

I do occasionally have dreams where something bad is happening to me, my kids or my husband. Those keep me upset for hours after I wake up

My dreams have nothing to do with the meds I'm on but since I've been little, I only remember the nightmares. I will go for months with nothing then like two weeks straight of nightmares, really awful things like murder, being chased, raped, etc. It's horrible and vivid and sometimes I will wake in the middle of the night on the verge of tears thinking it was real and cling closer to my hubby.

I mostly have 'nightmares' I used apostrophies bcoz they hardly ever scare me anymore, same themes since childhood... When it does get scary, I lucid dream, refuse to diey... Alien children attacking me, a masked henchman with a dagger, demons trying to possess me, someone attempting to rape me, or... I'm the assailant, but that's usually bp episode related. My normal dreams are of nothing in particular, and the deceased hardly visit in my dreams anymore... Meds never affected them either way tho...

I have very vivid and random dreams. I remember my dreams at least 3-4 days a week.

Last night I dreamed I was wandering around solving puzzles where I had to pull levers to open gates so I could go to the next area. I know why I dreamed this, though. Because I've been playing tomb raider. Haha....

But sometimes my dreams make 0 sense. For example last week I dreamed my family went to visit my aunt. As we approached her house, (which is on flat ground,) the ground started to push up and turn into a hill. As we climbed up after the hill, the ground turned into green jello-salad with whipped cream and we began to sink into it. So We're trying to hold up the kids because it's getting deeper and deeper. And then, my feet hit the bottom, and I bounce upward, because under the jello-salad the ground is actually a bouncy castle.... So I wake up wondering what the heck my brain is doing in there.

I also have vivid dreams to the point I swear I was actually awake and not asleep... They have seem to have intensified with my meds

hell!...there's another world I live inside and events things people creatures deformities ?

the entire sleep world is de-formed!...un-informed...over-formed..
most likely re-formed!

it forces me to believe that what I see when awake?...it's just a tiny beep in the giant burp of life!

and my brain is so damaged it mismatches... mistakes...and mis-understands pretty much everything...

I'm compelled to want to remember my dreams...cos they insist they know something that can help me!

but when I'm awake I'm pathetic stupid....just like now
