Well spent the night at the little lady's last night. Had a fine time.

Got woken up at 8:30am by an irate boss reprimanding me for comments I wrote at the bottom of the outline of our potential new schedule that I made up last night and distributed to all the warehouse employees.

I inteneded it as a joke, comedic relief for the ****** situation the general manager has put us in: more work, more hours, 2.5% less pay, have to pay 10% of health care, and 2 less vacation days. But apparently it wouldnt have gone over well if the general manager or the wrong person had seen it, so he was doing preventative damage control.

Then on my way to work, a friend of the family, a girl still in highschool, text messaged me to tell me she needed to talk to someone because her friend had skipped school and was in the middle of trying to kill himself. I told her she should tell a teacher or go to the guidence counselor, but she was already outside the office waiting for her visit. She texted me earlier this evening to tell me she had saved him, and he was on the way to the hospital.

Not to mention I had my second day of being the only person in here working for the afternoon shift change, which is balls-to-the-wall, non-stop action. At least a half hour straight of people pulled in 5 directions at once: window, other window, telephone, mine phone, bosses. CRAZINESS!!! But I made it through without having to threaten anyone's life so it was all good.

Well it sounds like you at least handled it well so congratulations on that. Keep your chin up miner, it's good that your friend saved a life and the kid is getting some help. So I would consider it quite a good day overall you've done well my friend.

Well the girl now texted me that she needs to talk to me again after work. She says the boy she saved hates her now for it. I explained that is a typical reaction and its ok that he feels that way. I will explain more to her later about the mind a suicidal individual and why he must feel the way he does.

Sounds like quite the day. Glad it is over and hope tomorrow is boring comparatively.

Manicminer......lol....I don't think you would know what to do with a boring day or even one with less activity in it.....it's a good thing that there are people like you out there with the energy to handle all the things that end up happening in & around your life......take care.

I do beleive you're right. ahahaha

But I have plenty of activities to take care of boring days. Got my reloading to do and just traded up on a new motorcylce.
I get the same therapeutic benefits from riding my steel horse as many do riding living ones.

Not to mention the new gf can usually think of a few things I could do with my free time.

I've done good so far, just hoping I dont crack under the pressure.

Thanks for the well wishes
