He was a pretty cool doc. He guaged my progress by asking me questions on subjects I was interested in and seeing how compitently I could answer them.

One was, "I just bought a new gun specifically for shooting starlings in my yard. What caliber do you think it is?"

and

"I just dropped a turbo diesel engine into my skidsteer so I have power enough to grind stumps, but I have oil leaking out of the heads and it loses power. I only tightened them with a ratchet; What do you think the problem could be?"
