"Why do so many of us suffer in silence, when there are so many of us that feel the same way. Why can't we just take each other by the hand and say, 'yes, i feel the same way?'"

would that really make things more bearable and better? If so....

I think it would help. Just to touch someone that knows what you mean when you say you feel off, to realize that there is physically another person like you out there. Hang in there dano, I know things seem bad now but things will get better. I promise, it may get worse before it gets better know that it will always at some point get better.

I think as a society we are embarassed to admit mental illness and wired to conform. Although, I am reading Shockaholic by Carrier Fisher (who has Bipolar I), and I love how open and laid back she is writing about MI. It kind of made me feel better like this forum does - common ground.

Peace & Hugs,

I absolutely think it makes it better to take the hands of others who feel the same way. I am angry that it is considered a weakness in society
