No this thread is not about that movie... It's not about my motherhood experiences either but it might be related.. You see, every time I read someone in need, I want to smother them in love. Same when I see kids or people in difficult situations, I wish I could be the worlds mother and fix everyone and everything around me. I have always wanted to change the world, I came to he conclusion that with every choice I made I was/am helping the universe. But somehow I cannot help the desire to nurture those that are in need. I don't act on it, but at least I send loving vibes. One day, we will make this a better world <3

I do act on it, as much as I can... It just feels that is never enough...

I feel like that too. And sending loving vibes is a lot actually if you think about that energy you are putting out there, it's got to go somewhere. Yes it never feels like enough. But our actions towards ourselves and others does make a difference, our thoughts even our words.. we are all part of the collective, so all things big and small effect something. I believe that anyways. Maybe the smaller things offer sustainability in the long term. I think it is getting better.

i know someone like this, and actually it anoys me.

their's being nice and showing psympathy, then their's going over the top

this girl she always says stuff like.. " can you feel me hugging you?". " let me send you a hug blanket with lots of warm hugs", then says about 500 times how the person means everything to her.

okay lynn, that's enough enough..

maybe it's just me, but i don't think all that is really essential- maybe a hug and listening ear, but not so far as to send a virtual blanket.... wow

no offence taken.

as i mentioned earlier, i don't mind giving virtual hugs (i like getting them myself too!) but their sure is a cut off point.

with that girl lynn for example, she does not know when to stop

((((hugs)))) to everyone in this froum

it's not really about sending love to others... to truly help... is getting them to love themselves.

I send love and virtual hugs to all of you! :-) you're all pretty awesome. Now, I don't go over the top..like your friend Lynn; But like Anika I do think that positive thoughts, that good energy does make an impact. Being always positive and supportive can drain you too but it's worth it.
