I've been complaining that I hate my job to friends/family and they are all telling me I need to get another job. My manager is verbally abusive and some of my coworkers are causing problems to the point where every single day I end up stressed out to the max, close to tears, so frustrated I am ready to explode etc.
I am looking for a new job in the next few days because I am off and I'm trying to think of jobs to apply to. I am getting so frustrated because I honestly don''t think I can do anything! Everything says must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be able to think quickly, use memory etc...my memory is horrible. I forget everything. Fast paced environments make me forget even more things and become flustered. Everyone is saying I can do so much better than where I am and that I can work anywhere but they don't know about my issues and it makes me so frustrated that I feel like I am not capable of being a good employee.
Ranting....I don't know what to do.

I know exactly how you feel!

Multitasking? Hahaha... yeah, I can multitask... get things done properly? Nope. Fast paced? Depends on my moods, but I'm not fast, I'm slow. I'm the tortus, not the hare. And when I become the hare, I screw up! Highly organized and detail oriented? Oh, I'm great with details but organizing them takes time.

Nope, don't fit in with the pressurized business world. Yet here I am stuck in it.

You know what job I loved? School custodian. Yup. Perfect pace, blue collar people, and it was at night when the school is closed so less drama! I miss that job so much. I should have never hopped away from it. Plus I was in great shape from being so active! (Best shape I was in for my whole life, actually.)

Actually, it's kind of a noisy job. You carry a vaccuum around on your back and it's pretty loud. But, it made me feel like a ghost buster. LOL. Bathrooms are not so fun (especially in high schools) but usually you only have 1 set in your area, (boy and girl.) So, it's not so bad.

First things first: Make a list of your skills, things you are good at, and things you find enjoyment doing. Then try to find employment based around these things
