What you're describing seems to fit best with what I have read about what they call a "mixed episode"

I agree. Something is going on. I strongly suggest you call your doc. You're right, it is a miserable experience.

My Mania is not fun, Sounds like you are mixed to be honest. Not a fun place to be. Try and hang on it's usually a bumpy ride.

Hmm what's the paranoia, what is it that you are thinking? Do you usually get paranoid? I'm not trying to be nosey, just trying to get a better picture. Bipolar 2 ? Do you have depressed thoughts or just agitated and paranoia with the up feelings.. that's what I think you said but want to be sure.

Agitated and paranoia is what I'm feeling but other than that I'm pretty happy I can't quit laughing at things. I usually get paranoid but its really bad right now I keep having visions of things that are going to hppen to me and flashes of seeing peoples faces in the windows of the house. Its really bothering me. I just would like to id this thing so next time I know what it is. Ive never felt this before. my hypo manias are usually fun. but this is not fun.

I'd say mixed not manic. When I was manic, I couldn't sit still and had no filter at all and was losing friends left and right. I had no patience and had a short temper. The thread is probably burried deep in here somewhere. I posted in my blog about it, too. I just could not stop.

I hear ya that's how it usually is but this is different I was just wondering if it was a different flavor of mania but mixed makes sense. I have had those before to but not this bad.

Just watch it and keep notes for your pdoc that way you don't have to think when they ask you what your symptoms have been.

My mania is kickass, up into the point psychosis sets in. Then its hell on earth.

The uncontrollable impulsive behavior has its downsides too...

I've felt like that before. It's even better when I start seeing faces and words in things where there are no patterns then start putting it all together like there are these messages and beings trying to get me, gift me or torture me. I was once afraid of the patterns on my bathroom tiles but I'm good at pretending things are fine and they've never caught me manic. It only ever sounds like it after the fact.
