I gave my therapist my entire life history; I didn't leave anything out. It was scary...my heart was pounding for hours before knowing that the best thing for me would be to tell her. But I did it!

And she doesn't even think that I'm crazy!

I have to do it all over again tomorrow with the school pdoc.

it's soooo hard to do that for the first time with someone. It does, in the end, feel liberating!

Awesome job, congratulations! I remember the first time I told a therapist my full story it was so scary but in the long run I did my best work with her.

Thanks everyone! I told the pdoc everything today too...unfortunately she thinks I'm manic, but she's going to consult with my pdoc in the states before deciding to do anything med-wise. So hopefully they'll decide that I'm fine the way that I am and I'll be able to keep my high mood.

I'm sorry today didn't go as well as yesterday. Did it feel good for them everything? Did school pdoc say why she thinks your manic?

I think that it's because I was talking fast, and haven't been sleeping as much as usual, and have wild mood swings between euphoria and irritability. I don't deny that I'm manic (or at least hypo). I just don't think that there is a problem with it.

It is getting kind of annoying to have my mind running so fast all the time, but I'd still take it over depression any day. And my mix of meds worked really well last semester. I don't want to play with something that works just because it doesn't work quite as well in a stressful environment.

Well I hope you get to keep your high mood that would be fantastic and I figure as long as its not messing with your functioning your allowed to keep it.
