Yesterday my pdoc told me that my lithium levels were low. This has not happened before til now. So, he highered it from 900 mg to 1200 mg a day.

Also, I am very happy to say that my pdoc has finally gave in to my request and will be switching me from Geodon to Abilify next month. He has lowered Geodon again until next visit. So, hopefully it will go will without symptoms.

I am just curious about if I will have any symptoms from switching from one to another.

I have been on Abilify in the past so I don't think I will have side effects from it.

I haven't made this particular switch, but evidently your doc thinks whatever symptoms you might have you will be able to handle. So, hang in there and keep in touch with your doc. Okay?

I'm glad ur pdoc gave in a switched the meds. I'm sure he/she agrees that it will help u. I've had my lithium increased from 900 to 1800. I feel a lot better...depression was kicking my butt.

Thanks! I will be sure to keep in touch with my pdoc. Definitely if I have any symptoms. And I am hoping that the increase in Lithium will decrease the chance for any symptoms to occur.
