Yes if you use your imagination you can pretend your in your own little bubble. Best of luck.

I would seriously put up a tent for designated me time (if I had the space). Seriously, I once spent an entire afternoon sitting under a blanket

I would put a tent or blanket or curtain if there was space. But, there's not...
So, the room is very crowded by furniture as well as people. There is the dining room table and 4 chairs (which is a new addition) and the crib because we don't have a room for the baby, either. There is one desk which is my old desk, which I'm going to use with my other desk, which is my great-grandfather's desk so that I have space for all the things I need. In like an L shape. Then my desk chair. And built into the wall is a buffett with a mirror, which I will clean off and also use for more me stuff, I think... My back will be to the kitchen door, and 2 bedroom doors. I'll be in the far corner. The room is open. It has like a low division wall that sperates it from the living room, where my husband's ucle sleeps. That room is also crowded with furniture so that 7 people can sit in there if necessary.... I think it wouldn't be so bad except I feel like the ucle is "hovering" waiting for me to go to bed so he can get on facebook and chat with his girlfriend.... I did make a "guest" account for him, though, so I can log off and he can't be adding new thigns to my pc.... >.<

Pretty high ceiling, so if you climb the walls maybe you'll find some privacy. :-)
Sorry for the pun. And your situation. It would drive me crazy(ier). I can't even sit in a middle or window airplane seat. Can you go out for walks or something to get some moving space of your own? |

Is there any way to arrange the furniture so that you can put yourself in a corner with your back to the wall? A corner is the best, like a cubby hole surrounded by your desks.
I guess that's what I would do. I like my back covered. I've been surprised a few times because people seem to think that it's funny to scare the crap out of you when you're a kid . I never got over that. I'm sorry you don't have enough room to be comfortable. It's very important. |
