So my old T randomly ended up being the mother of my daughter's boyfriend. She's an awesome fiery gorgeous redhead with wavy locks down to her hips. And she's fit as can be, very into yoga. I've always admired her, still do. She openly told me she knows she has a temper....

So my daughter lives with boyfriend in their tiny garage room. And I hear this crazy stuff about T, but I love it! I love knowing she's a real human, full of flaws like all of us and it cracks me up! Ok, so T throws a giant fit when she can't find her valium. She smokes a lot of pot lol, she's a lightweight and gets wild drunk off of 1 beer, she has several boyfriends and has very loud sex very often. I just thought I'd share, I can't keep it in, her human-ness just makes me admire her more, lol!
Thanks for this!

This is great. I wonder about my doctor because he rarely smiles and is always all business.

I saw pdoc at a wedding last summer, and another time saw her driving in town on her cell phone (illegal) and she almost hit someone in a crosswalk! James and I started making stories about how I had spotted the elusive pdoc creature lol, that was fun. Tis a rare treat to spot one out of his native office habitat.

Heh, I come from therapist stock so I can tell you all sorts of stories! Maybe it's their humanness that has me avoiding anything other than self help files and even those I question terribly.

this is so funny.

i think many of us would like to see the human-ess in our therapists.

i have thought about this before. and when they open up it makes me feel less like im in therapy and easier to talk.
