I do not think it is a good idea. At all. He does not want to run into the confounding effect. It is a very valid concern. Read wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confounding

He is right to proceed with caution. Just think about what you would like to try first: Li or WB.

Adjusting to medication is so difficult! For me, adjusting can be even worse than the disorder itself sometimes! (One major factor preventing me from going back on medication). Why would you want to try two new drugs at the same time? Don't you work?

Yes, speaking of work, good point, I have heard on here that WB can send you into mania so you might have trouble worrking.

That means that you FIRST need to try Li, and only then WB. Li would prrotect from going into mania.
