Ive gone from Mary Poppins to Mommy Dearest with my kids this week. I started out the week (which my 5 year old has off from school) doing projects and playing and being happy. Today, I just want to be left alone. And I noticed I have an easier time being nice to strangers than my family.
I act like it's their fault for my being angry but I know it's just me. Its so hard to describe to someone who doesn't have "issues" but it's like I'm watching myself be an a-hole and I can't stop it. Is this something you deal with? How do you stop yourself from being so mean?

Yes. Irritable - part of mania or depression. I just have to remove myself from the situation and try to do something fun.
