Im still in the midst of working a 7pm-7am shift. I worked 5pm-8am yesterday and only got about 4 hours rest at home in bed.

So I took a snooze last night when everything got quiet. Maybe got 2 hours altogether, though not consecutive and not very restful.

I do my best to get the 6 consecutive hours my former p-doc recommended on days I work my normal shift.

I slept from 10:30 until 6, but I wake up every couple of hours. I wish I could sleep all the way through and feel refreshed in the morning instead of tired still.

I actuallly slept. I was suprised. I did wake up at 430 for a little while but was able to fall back asleep. I am happy about that.

After going to bed at 12:30 I woke up at 2:30 for a little while and then at 5 for about an hour until my alarm went off at 7.

I was pretty thrilled about that, actually. I'm hoping I'm coming out of this 2 hours of sleep night trend that I had been on all last week.

The less I sleep, the more easily I wake up in the morning. On the weekends I average about 7 1/2 hours and feel like a slug; on the weekdays, I average 6 hrs. and feel fine. Got about 5 hours last night and popped right out of bed.....'course, I'm still a bit hypomanic, so that's probably got SOMETHING to do with it.
