There were those who were calling me out about smudging
I have been grieving over my father so I have put this issue on the back burner.I cannot imagine anyone with a Mental Disorder being so prepared as to cleanse away unreasted spirits.As i had mentioned before,I was not that experienced and especially in dealing with DEMONS! To which I don't believe sage is affective.Those of u whom called me out..enighten me please...

Thank you for the response Payne1.Im quite amused I recieved any response at all.My expeience with some folks on matters concerning certian cultures is that egos tend to know more than the less experienced.Truth is ceremonies differ as do cultures.Powers differ as do faiths.No one person is knowing. of all things.,and in all things possess a truth..The weak things of the world will confound the strong,and the foolish things will confound the wise....

Forgive me for asking, but what is smudging?

Smudging is burning sage it's a Native American tradition for purifying and cleansing negativity including unwanted spirits. I use it in my house, it's very powerful and effective.

I'm glad ur back Wildchild. I remember you had experience with smudging and sweat lodge too. How are you doing?

I've also done smudging before.

In my house, we have something... I don't know what the heck it is. Well, we have my great-grandfather, who died in the house when my dad was little. But, he's benevolent. When I moved in, I let him know it was me and my son, (I only had my oldest son then,) and that we love him and he can release to the afterworld whenever he chooses. I felt him pass right through me. It was incredibly powerful.

But then, there's the other thing.... I don't know what it is. But it's been there a long, long time. My dad used to have to deal with it when he lived there, even as a little boy. He used to say it would sit on him when he was trying to sleep. At night, if you walk through the house, you can feel it behind you. It sets off toys. It locked my mother-in-law out multiple times. I have put protections on all the doors, windows, and mirrors. I mix up holy water and sprinkle the house. I create talismans and hang them all over.... and I've done smudging and oils and incence. My middle son is sensitive, I know he is, because he always wants certain doors to stay closed at night.

Whatever the thing is, it's pretty powerful. I can fight it back and it stays back but then, eventually it regains power. My husband has actually seen its shadow in the middle of the day when I was at work.

For ghosts, it's the best to ask them carefully to leave and to lead them for the other realm.

U can also try energy work / light work. Send a glow of white light from your body, filling and surrounding ur aura for protection around urself. Also u can envision a ball of white light in the center of ur space , grow it to fill and surround the property. Say out loud or thought a prayer of your belief. I say, In the name of the I Am that I Am, I command this space filled with love and ligh from City of Light where the Ascended Masters dwell. All which is not of this light is Illusion and must leave now and not return. I command this protection remain in place until I next repeat this process. So mote it be.

Good one blue.I've learned that it takes the strength of the fath combined with the whole family. The white light, and the incantation, in a firm voice, with the power of God behind you, in the name of the blood of Jesus Christ we humans have command over the demons they must leave. This has been my experience that works

Glad to see you back. Sorry to hear about your father. I was brought up Catholic, so we didn't have anything like you speak of, but we did have this:
